Filling in the blanks is a huge task, and a daunting one. Consider Josiah Henderson Elliott and his 3 wives and 25 children. So, please, don't be the least bit hesitant to participate in building our genealogical database. Add someone. Add a lot of someones.
Start with your own immediate family and start working backward in time until you connect with the people already in there. It isn't hard to do, and you might find you enjoy it.
Discuss the Elliott Clan Family Tree in the forums.
Of course, the forums would be a great place to talk about who fits where. I'll be trying to get David Elliott of New York involved, because he had a theory about who the parents of William Elliott were - and here I refer again to William Elliott of Pennsylvania, presently the earliest ancestor we in this part of Missouri are able to directly tie up with our line.
Thanks to one and all for your participation. A community web site such as this is only as valuable as the people who stop in and share.
